Mallory & Evans Service - Inspection Program

The Inspection Program is a very attractive program because it is the lowest upfront cost. This program includes a periodic (usually quarterly) checklist to verify proper equipment operation but does not include any preventive, diagnostic, or predictive maintenance.

This level of maintenance is good to identify equipment problems but is not optimal on a stand-alone basis to minimize repair and energy costs.

Mallory & Evans Service - Preventive Maintenance Program

The Preventive Maintenance Program includes periodic inspections but also includes preventive, diagnostic, and predictive maintenance tasks. These tasks should cohere to manufacturer’s specifications and should be adjusted according to runtime and environmental conditions. These tasks very dramatically according to equipment type and should be documented in your maintenance agreement to assure proper coverage.

Any comprehensive preventive maintenance program should also include a thorough set of energy saving tasks. These extra tasks will pay for themselves several times over by saving energy and reducing equipment runtime. These tasks should also be documented in your maintenance agreement.

Mallory & Evans Service - Full Coverage Program

The Full Coverage Program includes not only inspections and preventive maintenance but also covers all repairs, system component replacement, and 24 hour emergency service. This program puts the full accountability of system maintenance costs on the service contractor. The program covers all labor, material, and component replacement costs for all covered equipment.

Contractors must be confident in their technicians and their ability to successfully execute preventive maintenance to offer these high risk programs. Equipment must be in maintainable condition before a contractor will provide full coverage. These programs typically don’t cover non-maintable components such as ductwork, casings, piping, insulation, etc.
